王炳辉,男,博士,副教授,硕士生导师,云南省“青年拔尖人才”。主要从事新发突发病原体的分子流行病学研究,研究方向集中于病毒的基因多样性和进化规律以及跨地区、跨物种传播机制,新病毒的发现、解析和分离培养等。前期的研究阐明云南省艾滋病毒、登革病毒、乙型肝炎病毒以及寨卡病毒等多基因型分布特征以及跨境传播规律;回顾性解析云南省第一例输入性寨卡病例基因特征;证实2013年云南登革爆发属输入性病例引发的本地流行;发现云南跨境人群中四种登革血清型同时流行;在云南省野生动物中进行病毒筛查和未知病毒基因解析以及传播风险评估。研究成果发表SCI论文三十余篇,其中以第一和通讯作者发表论文19篇,获得云南省科技进步一等奖1项,主持国家基金1项,云南省科技重大专项子课题1项。
